Moorfields School
An all girl school set amongst the picturesque town of Ilkley, West Yorkshire. Moorfields is a fun, bright, colourful place of learning which retains its traditional refinement.
This project was a simple design and build for an agency I was keen to work for.
There was a low budget, high expectation and of course little time to work with.
Required mainly to attract new pupils (or more accurately, their parents) I wanted to create a sense of something wholesome, natural and sun lit.
It blends the colours of the uniforms and some of the clean and clear feel of village life. I wanted a sense of something golden and traditional which also radiated life, energy and fun.
